Citrus College closed out the Citrus Tournament Saturday with two games, dropping a 14-11 loss to Saddleback but capping the day with another dominating performance, downing Chaffey 10-1.

The Owls move to 8-11 on the year with the split.

Teghan Miller led the Owls with six goals in the opener, while Delaney Latham added four goals and Sierra Beltran chipped in another goal.

In the nightcap, Citrus led from the start and only allowed one goal. Seven different Owls scored in the game, led by Miller, Genesis Moradel and Beltra, who each scored a pair of goals. Charly Figueroa, Mia Meldrum and Latham also rattled in goals for the Owls in the lopsided win.

Isabella Romero only had to make three saves in the cage for the Owls.

Citrus looks to build off its offensive output next week, heading to the Long Beach Tournament on Friday.
