(Wilmington, CA) Mt. SAC (6-1, 1-0) opened its South Coast Conference schedule with a 4-0 win over host Los Angeles Harbor College (6-5-1, 0-1) behind a pair of goals from Edward Castro on Tuesday.

Castro's scores came on assists from Jason Garcia in the 25th minute and Alex Mendez in the 90th minute. Goals by Jason Garcia in the 35th minute and Fabian Hernandez in the 50th minute came on assists from Paul Iniguez.

The goalkeeping duo of Ryan Molina-Castillo (63 minutes, four saves) and Ian Johanson (27 minutes, one save) held the Seahawks scoreless.

Next up for the Mounties is an SCC contest at Los Angeles City College (4-5-3, 0-1) on Friday, Oct. 8, at 6:30 p.m.
