Sierra College Women's Volleyball hosted West Valley on Wednesday, September 15 in Rocklin. After a fierce battle that saw both teams hold the advantage at times, the Vikings were able to secure the 5 set win.

Set one was a one sided affair, seeing the West Valley squad take the set 25-11. However Sierra answered back in set two, taking down West Valley 25-15. Set 3 and 4 were a close battle, with West Valley taking set 3 25-20, and Sierra set 4 with a 25-23 score. In the 5th, Sierra got off to a rough start before rallying and nearly tying the set before West Valley closed it out, taking the final set 15-11.

Hannah Platt led the Wolverines in kills with 14, while Bekah McGill assisted 18 times, and Corinne Williams racked up 17. Hailee Mulic led Sierra in digs with 20, followed by Zelbee Rader with 10.

Sierra heads to Sacramento City college on September 17 to kick off Big 8 play. Go Wolverines!
