Despite battling the day before, Citrus College didn't look fatigued Tuesday afternoon and dominated a 13-3 victory over West LA.

The Owls improve to 6-19 on the year and 2-8 in Western State Conference, while the Wildcats drop to 5-19 overall, 2-8 in conference.

Devon Diaz continued his hot streak, finishing 4-for-5 with three RBIs and three runs scored. Nicholas Santiago (2-for-4), Connor Green (2-for-4), Aaron Martinez (2-for-5) and Ronnie Wohlert (2-for-3) also had multi-hit games to help the Owls out-hit the Wildcats 16-to-6.

Citrus broke things wide open in the bottom of the fourth after scoring six runs on five hits to jump out to a seven-run lead. With two runners on and two outs, Diaz started a rally with a deep hit to left field, scoring both runners. Santiago joined Diaz on base and Chad Green doubled to left to score Diaz before his brother Connor Green blasted a home run to up the home team's lead to 8-1.

The Owls kept rolling and added two more runs in the sixth and three more in the seventh to all but put the game away.

Kyle Dixon picked up the win on the mound for the Owls, tossing 11 strikeouts and allowing just one run and four hits.

Citrus looks to build on today's successes, heading to West LA on Thursday for a 2:30 p.m. contest before returning home to conclude the three-game series on Saturday.
