MEN’S TENNIS: WINNING ON SOPHOMORE DAY
It was the final home game for FC sophomores on Thursday, and they did not disappoint defeating Victor Valley College 8-1 in a non-conference match.
Sophomores Thiago Manzano and Rodrigo Onate were honored before the match for their two years of dedication to the Hornet tennis program.
The Hornets swept the competition in doubles-play with wins coming from Jindrich Kosatik/Sergio Lee-Gutierrez (8-0), Rodrigo Onate/Thiago Manzano (8-0), Louis St. Clair/Charles Kirk (forfeit win).
In singles, Kosatik (6-4, 6-0), Gutierrez (5-7, 6-1, 11-9), Kirk (6-0, 6-0) all had wins over their opponents.
Up Next: Fullerton (9-10 overall, 1-6 OEC) will play at OEC rival Irvine Valley College on Tuesday, April 2nd at 2:00 pm.
