El Camino College's woes to start the season continued Friday as the team dropped a 5-0 road decision Friday afternoon at Santa Monica College.
The Warriors managed just two shots on the day as the Corsairs offense proved to be too much to handle. Kelly Gallagher made three saves in the first half before sophomore Joelle Niimi took over in goal in the second half and added three saves of her own.
In two matches, the Warriors have managed just four shots and have yet to score a goal.
The team will return to action on Friday, Sept. 6 as they host Fullerton at the ECC Soccer Field. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.
