CRC Hawks (4-6) vs. Merced (5-3)

Sacramento, Calif – Cosumnes River (4-6) faced off against Merced (5-3) in the 3rd place game of the 41st annual James Clark Classic at home. With a consistent performance on both ends of the floor, the Hawks took the 84-67 victory.
Freshman forward Christian Hough led the team with 20 points and has quietly been more and more productive as the season continues. Freshman shooting guard Adam Orr hit numerous threes in the second half to help stretch the CRC lead and take command. He finished with 17 points, including 5 threes. Orr was selected to the All-Tournament Team.
The win helped CRC go 2-1 for the weekend.
Next up, the Hawks host Hartnell College on December 14.
