VB too much for Palomar

The Saddleback women's volleyball team improved to 2-0 on Wednesday night with a 3-0 win against Palomar College inside the Saddleback Gymnasium.  The Bobcats outslugged the Comets to remain perfect on the year.

Saddleback won in three sets, (25-18, 25-21, 25-23) as Palomar had no answer for the combination of Sydney Brown and Kenzie Huston.  The duo combined for 18 kills between them while Logan Daniels recorded 27 assists.

Brown and Huston were also solid defensively, recording 12 and 14 digs, respectively.  Brown also recorded six aces while Huston had four as the Bobcats recorded 14 aces on the night.

Saddleback led 2-0 but trailed much of the third set.  Down 19-23 in the third the Bobcats rallied for six straight points to close out the Comets in three straight sets.

Saddleback will be back in action this weekend at Santa Ana College in the Santa Ana Quad.
