Compton, Calif. – Sophomore Andranae Powns lead Compton (6 – 3) to victory posting up 17 points in the match up against the University of La Verne. The final score of the night concluded at 61 -53.

Sophomores Marceya Vernardo and Niea Ulmer also contributed double digit scores with 16 and 11 respectively.

The Women's basketball team will play again on Wednesday December 4 at Mira Costa with a 5 pm tip off.
