Women’s Tennis Upends Glendale
TORRANCE, Calif. – El Camino College scored its seventh consecutive victory on Wednesday with an 8-1 non-conference decision over visiting Glendale at the ECC Tennis Courts.
The Warriors dropped the No. 4 singles match but otherwise cruised to victory as no other individual or doubles team dropped more than three games in a set.
Kekoa Vaefa and Amanda Hidalgo were the most dominant for the Warriors as they each swept their singles matches 6-0, 6-0.
The Warriors will have a week off before returning to conference play on Thursday, March 18 as they welcome Rio Hondo to the ECC Tennis Courts. First serve is set for 2 p.m.
