(Lemoore, CA) Mt. SAC's quest for its ninth CCCAA State title was put on hold as they were eliminated by Santa Rosa (65-48) in the quarterfinals on Friday, March 10th.

The Mounties had been on an 11-game win streak and finished their season with a 23-8 record, but struggled from the field shooting 31.6 percent (18 of 57) and 20 percent from 3pt range (2 of 10).

Briana Lizardi, who came off the bench for Mt. SAC, led the team with 16 points on 7 of 14 shooting. Starter Kamesha Moore also had 12 points in the effort.
