SANTA CLARITA, Calif. - The College of the Canyons baseball team won its seventh straight game with a 10-6 conference victory over LA Mission College on Tuesday afternoon.
This is the third straight game that COC has scored double-digit runs, as nine Cougars in the lineup recorded at least one hit.
Designated hitter Corey Sims went 3-for-3 with two RBIs and Kevin Lenik went 2-for-5 with a homer and two RBIs. COC pitchers Icezack Flemming and Allen Sarkissian combined for four shutout innings and five strikeouts. Third baseman Trey Williams and infielder Quincy Quintero combined for four hits and three RBIs.
The Cougars will host Bakersfield College on Thursday, March 21 for a 2:30 p.m. game.
