IMPERIAL, CA (11/2/2021) – The Comets bounced to defeat Imperial Valley College 3-2 on Tuesday. Palomar was the first PCAC team to beat Imperial Valley at home this season.

The men went straight to work as Jacob Stutzman scored off an assist from Henry Galindo in the 5th minute of the game. Robert Jeffers found the net in the 14th minute off an assist from Seiwa Kawano. Their final goal came from Josef Duenas before halftime.

Imperial Valley scored their first goal in the 25th minute and their second goal in the 75th minute.

Jacob Stutzman, Chris Perez and Galindo all received yellow cards and Juan Rosales received his first red card.

The Comets move to 8-8-1 on the season and 5-5 in PCAC play. They will be off on Friday and will be back on the pitch on Tuesday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. against San Diego City College.
