Sacramento, Calif. - The Solano softball team dropped a pair of contests at Cosumnes River, 3-0 and 11-2, on Tuesday afternoon.

Freshmen Britney Lentino and Maleah Martinez were the lone Falcons to record a multi-hit day with Lentino earning the team's only hit in the first game. Martinez went 2-for-3 in game two with a RBI with freshman Kourtney Patrick earning the team's other RBI.

Martinez (0-2) and freshman Kalia Dondoy (0-2) each were charged with a loss with Martinez throwing five innings in the first contest, allowing five hits and fanning five. Dondoy pitched the complete game in the second game, only allowing four earned runs.

Solano (1-3) hosts Folsom Lake in its home opener next on Thursday, Feb. 10 starting at 12 p.m.
