Falcons End Losing Streak With Win Over Jaguars
San Jose, CA – FLC Softball returned to San Jose on Saturday to makeup the second game of a double header that was originally scheduled to be played on February 4th but had to be postponed due to rain. The Jaguars (5-5) beat the Falcons (4-7) in the first game of this matchup on the 4th, but the Falcons were able return to San Jose and take game two with the help of Itzel Montoya's game-winning, first inning single that drove in two runs. The Falcons added an insurance run in the 6th inning but didn't need it as freshmen pitcher, Isabella Savala was able to shut down the Jaguars offense and earned the win as the Falcons beat the Jaguars 3-1.
