(Fullerton, CA) Host Fullerton College (0-2) jumped out to an early lead with two runs in the first, but Mt. SAC (5-0) bounced back to capture its fifth straight win of the season, 8-3, on Friday, Jan. 31.

Alyssa Martinez (1-4) homered in the sixth and finished with three RBIs while scoring a run for the Mounties. Alexis Lemus (2-3, 2 RBI, R), Bianca Chavez (1-2, R), and Nicole Siess (1-2, RBI, 2 R) also performed well in the victory.

Alexia Silvas (2-0) got the win for Mt. SAC, pitching six innings, allowing two runs, while striking out eight.

Looking to remain unbeaten, the Mounties will host Compton College (0-1) on Thursday, Feb. 6, at 3 p.m.
