Women's Basketball Wins Season Finale Over Pierce, 73-64

Women's Basketball celebrated "Sophomore Night" as Second-Year Head Coach Casey Blair joined the fans in saying farewell to his first recruiting class.  2022 All Western State Conference First Team Guard Olivia Missler (pict-R) and her fellow veterans went out strong as the Cougars beat Los Angeles Pierce, 73-64.  Missler score all of her points team-high 18 points from beyond the arch, while dishing out six assists and pulling down five rebounds, as fellow two-year Starter Sam Watanabe (pict-mid-R) added 14 points, nine boards and four assists of her own.  Sophomores Daisy Hummell (pict-mid-L) and Chris Heimann (pict-L) each scored during their first start of the campaign as the Cougars made sure everyone was involved in their season-ending victory.  The Cougars enjoyed their third most points in a win since beatring Desert, 81-23, in mid-December.  Cuesta's final triumph was a celebration of team play, as the Cougars dished out 22 total assists and helped seven of their eight active players find their way onto the scoresheet.      

The Cougars finished the season with a 10-18 overall record and in 5th place in the Western State Conference with a 3-9 mark against the circuit.
