Bakersfield Gets a Home win over LA Valley

BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Bakersfield College baseball team put on an impressive offensive display on Tuesday, defeating LA Valley 12-5 in a dominant performance. The team came out swinging, racking up 17 hits and scoring 12 runs, with no errors in the game. It was a true team effort, with multiple players contributing to the offensive onslaught. Sophomore shortstop Andrew Townson led the way, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, while teammates Luke Froehlich and David Escobar also ended the day with doubles.

On the defensive side of the ball, pitcher David Delgadillo took the win for the Renegades. The freshman right-hander put together an impressive performance, allowing only 3 runs on 7 hits in 4 innings of work.

The win was a much-needed boost for the Bakersfield College baseball team, who have been struggling in recent weeks. They now have a record of 10-18 on the season and will look to build on this momentum in their upcoming games.

BC will finish the series with the Monarchs on Saturday at Gerry Collis field with a 1 pm first pitch.
