Bobcats win again at Palomar

The Saddleback women's volleyball team improved to 4-0 with a four-set win at Palomar College on Wednesday in San Marcos.  The Bobcats will play in the Chaffey College Quad Tournament on Friday.

Saddleback is 4-0 for the third straight season after the win on Wednesday.  The Bobcats cruised past the Comets in four sets, winning 25-16, 30-28, 20-25, 25-19.

Saddleback was led on offense by Sydney Brown, Marina Maffioli and Jolie Robinson, who finished with 25, 15 and 10 kills, respectively.  The Bobcats were also solid in the defense end as Robinson led the team with 11 digs.  Logan Daniels was busy dishing out kills, finishing with a season-high 48 assists.

The longest winning streak to start a season during the Brian Hughes era was in 2021 when the Bobcats started 5-0.  Saddleback will look to surpass that mark when they travel to Chaffey College for two matches on Friday.  The Bobcats will open with San Diego City College at 2:00 PM before facing host Chaffey at 4:00 PM.
