The loss bumps Fullerton to 12-7 overall and 4-1 in the OEC, while the Cypress victory lands the Chargers at 15-3 overall and 4-0 in conference-play.
Despite leading throughout most of the game, the Hornets lost the game on a pair free throws by Pressila Blanco with three seconds left.
After committing 4 turnovers in the last forty-seconds of the game, Fullerton's fate was sealed after leading by as much as 7 points in the final four minutes.
Although the Hornets led the game in rebounds (49-42), shooting percentage (42.9% to 38.1), and points in the paint (38-24), it was the turnovers (20) that took the victory away.
