WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: PLAYOFFS & OEC SELECTIONS

The 13th seed Hornets will take on last season's state champion #4 Ventura College in the first round of the Southern California Regionals. Also, three FC players were voted to the All-OEC team.

Fullerton ended the regular season with an overall record of 16-11 and an Orange Empire Conference record of 5-7.

The Hornets faced the Pirates twice this season with FC coming out on top both times. In their first meeting in November, FC won 72-58. In the second meeting a month later, Fullerton took that game 57-50.

Ventura wrapped up their season with an overall record of 25-5 and a Western State Conference record of 12-0.

Sophomore guard Noelle Cobb was voted 1st Team All-Orange Empire Conference on Sunday. A two-year starter for the Hornets, Cobb earned her second All-OEC selection this season averaging 15.4 points per game, 7.2 rebounds, and 2.2 assists.

Sophomore Kelli Calton and freshman Michelle Okoroike were 2nd Team All-OEC selections. Calton averaged 13.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game, while Okoroike averaged 8.6 points and 7 rebounds per game.
