(Walnut, CA) Karissa Vela scored three times to lead host Mt. San Antonio College (8-1) to a 4-0 non-conference win over previously unbeaten Citrus College (6-1) on Friday, Sept. 23.

Vela's goals came in the 22nd (assist by Fatima Arnold), 28th (assist by Ayuka Toshimoto), and 61st (Toshimoto assist) minutes of the game. Sasha Lopez accounted for the other Mountie score, an unassisted goal in the 42nd minute.

Mt. SAC will take a 10-day break before starting its South Coast Conference schedule at home against Rio Hondo College (2-2-1) on Tuesday, Oct. 4, at 4 p.m.
