Another Falcon comeback falls short, 11-7

On Saturday, it was a case of déjà vu as the Panthers took a 6-0 lead early on, extended it to 8-1, then watched the Falcons claw back to 8-7 after five innings.  That's as close as it would get as the Panthers added 3 runs over the final two innings to win 11-7.  FLC catcher Ali Kile had the biggest hit for the Falcons, ripping a 3-run double down the right field line in the fifth inning.  But with Sac City clinging to a 1-run lead, Panther shortstop Madison Mendoza smashed a 2-run homer to provide some insurance runs.
