The West Valley beach volleyball teamed dropped just a single set, as the Vikings swept the College of San Mateo 5-0, 5-0 Friday in Saratoga. West Valley pairs Taylor Tullo/Katie Kishton (1's), Elia Dueñas/Alina Valenti (2's), Della Trimble/Camdyn Albrecht (3's) and Sydney Rogers/Ailish O'Deegan (4's) all captured two matches apiece with straight-set sweeps. Viking 5's were split between Alex Bergantz/Keilli Voss and Monika Martinez Leon/Kate Blackwell, with both pairs taking wins.

The victories gave WVC six straight match wins heading into Friday's (5/21) home finale against Feather River and Sierra. The Vikings close out the 2021 season at Cabrillo May 28.
