Beavers roll past Falcons for Big 8 title

The Falcons faced off against American River - the #1 ranked team in NorCal – for the Big 8 title on Friday morning and were once again shut out by the Beavers, 9-0.  The Beavers left little doubt about who the Big 8 champion is as they steamrolled through every team in the conference.  Friday's match was no different as the Falcons struggled to just win games, let alone sets or matches.  Falcon top seed Stephen Morley had the most success, nearly winning the first set before falling in a tie-breaker.   As the second-place team in the Big 8, the Falcons will advance to the NorCal team playoffs beginning April 9.
