To open the 2019 sesaon the MiraCosta women's beach volleyball team has had quite a bit of success. In the first two weekends the Spartans compiled a 6-2 record with wins against Cabrillo (2), Ottawa University, Rio Hondo, West Valley and San Diego Mesa. Although many players showed strong play, Hanley Lomax and Shannon Evans stood out. Felicity So'oto and Delaney McDonald also have shown encouraging progress in the 5's position.

The Spartans will travel to El Camino College on Saturday March 9th to take on El Camino and Cypress College.
