(Walnut, CA) Behind a pair of goals by Liani Sanchez, Mt. SAC (8-3-2) handed visiting Pasadena City College (5-3-4) a 3-0 loss at the Mt. SAC Soccer Complex, on Friday night.

Britany Serrano scored the Mounties' first goal in the ninth minute on an assist from Giselle Valdez. Sanchez' first goal came on an assist from Jacquelynn Coronado in the 40th minute and her second was unassisted in the 76th minute.

In 90 minutes, Mt. SAC goalkeeper Gabrielle Leon saved both of the Lancers' shots on goal to hold the visitors scoreless.

Winners of two straight, the Mounties will begin their South Coast Conference schedule at home this Friday (Oct. 18) against Compton (3-2-4) at 7 p.m.
