SANTA ANA, Calif. – Freshman forward Jalani Horn went off for a season high 32 points in Friday's matchup with No. 3 Santiago Canyon but it wasn't enough as the Santa Ana men's basketball team fell 90-72.

Horn went 10-17 from the field with three long balls to keep the Dons within reach. He also grabbed another season high 18 rebounds, giving him six double-doubles on the season.

The Dons found themselves down 16 (50-34) at the half after seeing the Hawks shoot 51.4 percent from the field and 40 percent from three point range the first half.

Santa Ana made some adjustments at the break and chipped away early in the second to cut the lead to eight (51-43) with 15:38 left on the clock.
