Oroville, Calif. - Despite nine shots, four on goal, with six coming in the second half, the eighth-seeded Roadrunners' playoff run ended in a 2-0 loss to 17th-seeded Clovis on Tuesday afternoon.
Clovis quickly scored in the third minute of the match before picking up an insurance goal in the 17th minute.
Freshman Estefano Garcia counted three of the team's shots, all on goal, with sophomore Simon Huebner earning the other shot on goal.
In the goal, freshman Noris Iten played all 90 minutes, tallying five saves.
The Roadrunners finish the 2022 campaign with a 16-3-4 overall record after tying for first in the Golden Valley Conference with a 7-1 mark.
