Bradford 20 points leads PC in win at West Hills Lemoore

Porterville College sophomore Tayshawun Bradford tied a season-high by scoring 20 points to help lead the Pirates to an 80-72 Central Valley Conference victory at West Hills College Lemoore on Wednesday. 

PC improved to 9-8 overall and 2-1 in conference play.

Porterville held a narrow 40-37 lead at halftime and outscored West Hills 40-35 over the final 20 minutes to hang on for the win. Bradford sank a game-high 5 three-pointers in the contest. He completed an impressive all-around game with 4 assists, 4 steals, and 3 rebounds.

Dominic King was huge off the bench for the Pirates, scoring 16 points while nearly completing a double-double with 9 assists. He added 4 rebounds and 3 steals.

The Pirates got double-digit scoring from Dustin Henderson (13 points) and Kenton Lei (12 points) while Chirrag Sidhu chipped in with 9 points and 6 rebounds.

PC will look to make it two wins in a row when they travel to face Fresno City College on Saturday (Jan. 18) in a Central Valley Conference game.
