WOMEN’S TENNIS: HORNETS OUT-DUELED BY LASERS
On Tuesday, Fullerton did their best to keep up with talented Irvine Valley College but ended up losing 7-2 at home Tuesday.
In doubles play, the Hornets could not get a victory on the board as IVC swept Fullerton in straight sets.
In singles play, Delaney Ashe lost her first set 6-7 but battled back eventually winning her match 6-3, 10-8. Lael Cardinal defeated Lauren MacDonell from Irvine Valley 7-5, 6-2.
Up Next: The Hornets (6-4 overall, 1-2 conference) will travel to Orange Coast College on Thursday, March 8. The match against OCC will start at 2:00 pm. On Monday, March 12 FC will host Wheaton College form Illinois, there is a special start time of 12:30 pm.
