Ninth-seeded Citrus College battled against the top seed of the SoCal Regional Tournament Santa Barbara City College but fell 11-4 to end the season.

The Owls cap the year with an 18-12 record.

Teghan Miller and Gabriella Terry each netted two goals for the Owls.

Citrus struggled to find its rhythm and found itself trailing 7-0 before the Owls could break through. The Owls grabbed five exclusions in the first quarter, including two back-to-back from one another.

Miller broke through the drought halfway through the second on a power-play goal off an assist from Gabby Orozco.

The Owls won the fourth, out-scoring the Vaqueros 3-to-1, but it wasn't enough to overcome the 10-1 deficit Citrus found itself in heading into the final period.

Terry scored two unanswered goals off assists from Amelia Wolfe and Tamara Holstrom to put the Owls within seven, 10-3, and Miller capped the scoring in the final 39 seconds with a goal off another Wolfe assist.
