The MiraCosta women's beach volleyball team has been hard to beat.  Heading into the fifth week of conference play the Spartans were 8-0 and the schedule had them facing off against San Diego Mesa College and Rio Hondo College.  MiraCosta played with percision in their 5-0 victory versus Rio Hondo and their 4-1 win over Mesa improving to 10-0 in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference.

The Spartans, 16-2 overall, have guaranteed at least a share of the conference championship and will likely host in the first round of the State Playoffs on Tuesday May 2nd.  Before that state playoffs MiraCosta will finish up the final week of conference play at home on Friday, April 21st, at Frazee Beach in Carlsbad.  The day will feature the league leading Spartans against Palomar College and El Camino College and will begin at 10am.
