Men's Tennis Falls to American River in NorCal Semifinal

Sacramento, Calif. - Despite playing arguably the best overall match of the season, the Solano men's tennis team fell to American River, 9-0, in the NorCal Semifinal on Tuesday.

"The culture and energy of this group speaks volumes about their passion not only for the sport of tennis, but for their strong and unique bond together as teammates who share this memorable season together for the rest of their lives," Solano men's tennis head coach Connor Van Alstyne said.

The Falcons wrap up team play with a 13-2 overall record, after taking the Big 8 South title. Members of the squad will compete in the CCCAA Individual Regional Championships on April 29-30.
