Reedley College opened the 2022 women's soccer season Friday with a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over the Sacramento City College Panthers in Sacramento.

Coach Onesta Francis' Lady Tigers look for victory number two on Aug. 30 at Modesto Junior College before heading to Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria on Friday.

In Sacramento, a goal by Nazira Nunez, on an assist from Krista Casas tied the score at one all in the 54th minute. The two combined for the winning goal in the 80th minute as Casas scored assisted from Nunez.

Goalie Natalie Duran, who allowed a good in the 29th minute, finished with five saves.
