Glendale battles but Citrus too much in 77-53 loss

Ahead 23-21 with just minutes left in the first half, it looked like the GCC Men's Basketball Team might have enough To beat visiting Citrus College Wednesday in the Verdugo Gym. But the Owls got the best of the Vaqs, taking a 31-23 and outscoring them 46-30 in the second half for a 77-53 loss for Glendale. 

Dressing just six players, GCC was led by Andreyas Bogohossian with 20 points and DeAndre Waters added 16 and Dianta McDowell had 10 and off the bench. Brooklin Sharpe had a team high nine rebounds and Waters added eight with Boghossian and Sharpe totaling three assists each.

Glendale, now 5-16 and 0-7 in WSC play, host West L.A. College Saturday Feb. 1 at 5 pm in the Verdugo Gym.
