Huntington Beach, Calif. - The Golden West women's volleyball team came out hot Wednesday night as they jumped out to an early 7-0 and never surrendered the momentum in a 3-0 sweep of Cerritos College. 

Golden West applied the pressure early and often as they cruised 25-11, 25-17, 25-14 against the visiting Falcons. Freshman outside hitter Adriana Morales was the only Rustler in double digits for kills with 14, while chipping in 11 digs. Freshman Libero Emily Hererdia posted a team leading 13 digs and freshman setter Katie Griffin tallied 23 assists and nine digs. 

Golden West will be travel to Palomar College for their first road match of the season on Friday, September 10th with a 5pm start.
