Citrus College dropped the first game 12-7 to San Joaquin Delta but bounced back with a 15-9 victory over LA Valley on the first day of the Battle at the Beach.

The Owls move to 9-12 on the year with the results.

Teghan Miller and Andrea Hayler each had six goals on the day. Miller also assisted five times and finished with seven steals, while Hayler added two assists and two steals. Amelia Wolfe and Sierra Beltran each scored three goals and added an assist, while Delaney Latham and Charly Figueroa each rattled in a pair of goals.
