After a convincing 3-1 win over Folsom Lake College, the Bear Cubs lock NorCal's no. 1 seed heading into the first round of regional playoffs. Northern California's no. 1 seeded SRJC (16-1-2) will host no. 16, Napa College (9-7-2), this Saturday 11/23, at 1pm. 

With their 9-0-1 undefeated conference record, the Cubs were named the 2019 Big 8 Conference Champions last week.  Other SRJC honors included:

• Big 8 Player of the Year, Adrian Fontanelli
• Big 8 Defensive Player of the Year, Derek Neidlinger, and
• Big 8 Coach of the Year, Marty Kinahan

A win over Napa Saturday would advance the Cubs into the second round where they would face the winner of the no. 8 San Francisco City College vs. no. 9 West Valley College game.  The second round of playoff games will play either Tuesday 11/26 or Wednesday 11/27.
