The Bakersfield College Beach Volleyball team led off Friday's tri-match with a win.

The Renegades shutout Victor Valley in straight sets at the team's temporary home courts at Cal State Bakersfield. 

"We could be here a while, or this could be our last season," Coach Carl Feirerra said about the accomodations, "We don't worry about that. We just play." 

BC takes on Ventura with hopes of avenging last week's lost in their second match of the day.
