Sophomore Stone Garland scored his team-leading eighth goal of the season, but City College of San Francisco was limited to just the lone score in a close 2-1 Coast Conference loss at Skyline College on Wednesday.
CCSF dropped to 5-4-1 overall and had its conference record evened up at 2-2.
Garland's goal in the 35th minute came off the assist from Jesus Rangel. CCSF goalkeeper Isaac Alvarez made four saves.
San Francisco returns to action on Friday (Oct. 15) when the Rams host De Anza College in a 4 p.m. Coast Conference game.
