Santa Ana Pushes No. 3 Palomar but Falls 67-46

SANTA ANA, Calif. - Through two and a half quarters in its game against Palomar, the Santa Ana women's basketball team showed it could hold its own against one of the top teams in the state.

The No. 3 ranked Comets built a 15-point lead by the second quarter but a 9-0 run to end the half helped the Dons cut the lead to six (30-24).
