The object of the game is to outscore your opponent.
West LA's Women's Basketball team did just that, outscoring Citrus College
by one point in all four quarters and defeated the Owls, 57-53. WEST turned up the heat in the 
4th quarter allowing Citrus just 8 points. Citrus was only able to manage making 
4 of 12 shots in the closing stanza.

Freshman guard Justice Walters (Westchester) led WEST with 17 poins to go along with 
7 rebounds.  Tricia Delph (Fairfax) contributed with a double-double adding 11 points and 
10 rebounds. The Wildcats win puts them back in the hunt to win a 3rd straight conference
title. WEST returns home Saturday, 1/18 to face LA Valley College. Game time is 1 pm.
