The Wildcats hit the road this past weekend to participate in the Cuesta College tournament, held in San Luis Obispo.
West LA improved to 8-4, with a win in the Championship game against Cuesta College.

Audrina Villela (Carson HS), was named the

The 5'7 sophomore followed that performance with games of 12 (American River) and 20 points (Cuesta College), respectively for West. Freshman Tricia Delph (Fairfax) has made the most of her opportunities, in this her freshman season. Delph has started all 12 games for WEST and continues to be productive on both ends of the floor. She is fourth on team in both rebounding and scoring. The former Fairfax product averaged 15 points per game over the weekend to earn all tournament honors.

Only Delph, Villela and Heyavin Johnson have started all 12 games for the Wildcats this season. An All Conference performer a season ago, Johnson leads West LA in assist. The former Westchester standout came up big against Santa Monica a few weeks go, pulling down 10 rebounds and dishing out 5 assist. Johnson earned the all tournament, selection as well at Cuesta for consistency throughout the tournament.

Up next for the Wildcats is LA Trade Tech (6-1) on December 7th, at the Los Angeles Valley College Tournament.
