Falcons erupt for 10 goals, shutout Foothill

A mid-week road trip to the Bay Area produced yet another blowout win for the FLC women's soccer team as they bounced back from last Friday's disheartening tie against Cabrillo with a dominant 10-0 shutout of Foothill College in Los Altos Hills on Tuesday afternoon.  It took a while to get going, but once Erika Olivera-Gutierrez netted their first goal in the 24th minute (assist by Kaitlyn Scoggins), the Falcons seemed to score just about every five minutes thereafter.  Ten different Falcons found the net, including Avery Pieri and Gigi Hall, each with their team co-leading fifth goal of the season.  Other Falcons who scored included Luci Gulbransen, Annette Medina, Kalyn Amezcua, Jasmine Alvarez, Alyssa Bloxham, Taylor Curtis, and Kaia Mills, while Gulbransen and Nyah Attaway each contributed two assists.

The Falcons return to Falcon Stadium for a home match on Friday afternoon against West Hills Lemoore at 4:00 pm.
