SBCC blanked Glendale 9-0 on Tuesday at Pershing Park to extend its WSC win streak to 20 in a row.

It was the sixth straight win for the defending conference champion Vaqueros (6-1, 5-0). Glendale is 2-5 and 0-3.

The hometown Vaqueros took a 2-0 lead before the match as Glendale only had five players. Decisive wins at No. 1 and 2 doubles made it 4-0.

"Our closes matches were at No. 3 singles with Ashley Allen stepping up to win 6-2, 5-7, then 10-8 in the super breaker in lieu of a third set. This was a huge win for Ashley considering she just lost a match last Thursday at Canyons in a third-set super breaker. No. 4 Sydney Paillon defeated her opponent 6-0, 7-5. No. 5 Heather Cano (freshman from Dos Pueblos High) made her singles debut and won 6-4, 6-3.

"Overall our depth helped us win today and the girls came to play."

SBCC will play a non-conference match at Fullerton on Friday at 2 p.m.
