SACRAMENTO (3-14) – The Hawks played Sierra College in the second game of a Big 8 Conference series. The Wolverines topped the Hawks 14-10.

Josh Caldwell started on the mound for the Hawks. Caldwell threw six innings for the Hawks. Jorge Garcia, Alex Crouch, Brenden Murray and Troy Davis all threw for the Hawks. The Hawks allowed eighteen hits on the day.

Mark Aubrey was the leader offensively for the Hawks. Aubrey was 2-4 with three RBIs and scored twice. Ryan Barry was 2-3 on the day. Burle Dixon, Kyle Galart, Dean Lucas, Jorge Montoya, Joey Pankratz and Ethan Torres all added hits on the day. The Hawks offense would score eight runs in the bottom of the ninth inning.

Ryan Gil was the winning pitcher for the Wolverines while Josh Caldwell was the losing pitcher.

The Hawks and Wolverines will finish up their three game series in Rocklin tomorrow at 2:30 pm
