(Walnut, CA) Gerardo Cazares broke a scoreless tie in the 62nd minute, on an assist from Herminio Padilla, to lift Mt. SAC Men's Soccer to a, 1-0, win over Fullerton (2-2-1) in the championship match of the 2019 Azteca Soccer/Adidas Mt. SAC Soccer Tournament, on Sunday.

Goalkeeper John Samano had four saves in 90 minutes for the Mounties (5-0).

In the third-place match, College of the Canyons (1-1) defeated College of the Desert (2-3) by the score of 2-0.

In five matches this season, Mt. SAC has scored 16 goals while allowing just three.

The Mounties will put their five-match winning streak on the line against Cuyamaca (2-0-1) at home, on Friday, Sept. 13, at 2 p.m.
