The #20 American River College Softball team wrapped of the week by winning 3 out of 4 games. The Beavers started the week by sweeping a doubleheader against Merced College, 8-0 and 6-0.
The Beavers then traveled to San Mateo to take on College of the Redwoods and College of San Mateo. The Beavers would defeat College of the Redwoods in convincing fashion 16-6.
In a tied 1-1 ball game at the end of the fourth inning against defending state champion College of San Mateo, CSM was able to pull away scoring runs in the 5th and 6th innings. Ultimately defeating the Beavers 6-1 and breaking the Beavers 8 game winning streak.
The Beavers move to 8-2 on the season and will be back in action on Thursday, February 23rd, as they travel to play Solano College at 12 PM.
