Softball Loses To Delta In Extra Innings

Reedley College's softball team is still looking for its first win after suffering two losses in Stockton on Saturday.

Head Coach Kathy Kuball's Lady Tigers dropped to 0-4 on the young season after a 14-2 loss to Feather River and a 4-2 loss to host and 4-0 San Joaquin Delta in ten innings.

"We didn't show up," said Kuball of the loss to Feather River.

Reedley continues to look for its first victory with six more games on the road this week. On Tuesday, Feb. 4, Reedley is in San Luis Obispo to face 4-0 Cuesta College. On Friday, the Tigers are in the Bay Area for a 1 p.m. doubleheader with Diablo Valley (2-2) before going to Santa Rosa Saturday to face Monterey Peninsula (2-0) at 10 am and host Santa Rosa Junior College (3-0) at noon.

Destiny Guerrero's two-run homer gave Delta the win. Alyssa Acosta and Karlie Fien both had two singles for the Tigers.
